Tracy Wolfson Hilariously Broke Out a Ladder for Postgame Interview With UConn’s Donovan Clingan

On Saturday, TBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson—all five-foot-two of her—became the subject of yucks around the country for her interview with Purdue center Zach Edey. At seven-foot-four, the Boilermakers superstar towered over her after Purdue’s 63-50 win over NC State in the Final Four.

A seasoned television veteran, Wolfson seemingly vowed not to let such a thing happen again.

When she interviewed seven-foot-two Connecticut center Donovan Clingan after his team’s 86-72 win over Alabama, Wolfson came armed with a step ladder.

“Tracy Wolfson now has a prop, and it’s an effective one,” play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle said.

“That is right, Ian. You said I needed a ladder, I got myself a ladder,” Wolfson replied.

Clingan was his usual excellent self in the Huskies’ triumph, scoring 18 points and pulling down five rebounds.

Connecticut will meet the Boilermakers Monday in the national championship game, seeking its second straight championship and sixth crown overall.
