FOUNTAIN — According to the Fountain Police Department, a former El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputy, who was arrested for sexual exploitation, had a child porn photo open on his laptop when he logged into it.
Police say they found 15-20 similar photos on that laptop.
The Fountain Police Department says 41-year-old Brian Junglen was arrested last week. They also say there may be more victims.
According to arrest documents, Fountain Police say Junglen uploaded child sexual abuse material to the search engine Microsoft Bing.
The documents also say when police confronted him and told him the material was uploaded to the internet from a person in the house, Junglen said something to the effect of, “I’m going to make this easy for you, it’s mine.” Junglen also allegedly told police where they could find photos and videos on his personal electronics.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) Junglen was a deputy from 2006 to 2017.
Junglen was charged with sexual exploitation of children-distribution of material, and sexual exploitation of children-video, moving visual images, motion picture. He bonded out of jail on Friday.
