Taylor Knibb will compete in three events at the Paris Olympic Games this summer, with the 26-year-old officially selected by USA Cycling for the time trial in France.

Already qualified for the individual and mixed team relay triathlon events, the PTO World #1 will have three shots at an Olympic medal in the French capital.

Signed to the Trek Factory Racing cycling team, the Cornell University graduate will now represent the Stars and Stripes on the biggest stage of all in July and August.

What can’t she do?

Having wrapped up her Olympic triathlon berth at the Paris Test Event last summer, Knibb has gone from strength-to-strength, with successes over several distances and disciplines since last August.

Just weeks after racing in Paris, the Colorado based pro successfully defended her IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship title in Finland, before going on to make her full-distance debut at the IRONMAN World Championship, where she finished fourth.

This year, Knibb has picked up a podium at WTCS Yokohama, which was sandwiched between middle-distance wins at IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside and the San Francisco T100 Triathlon World Tour.

To top it all off, she also raced at the US National Time Trial Championship in Charleston last month, where she took the victory and secured her spot alongside reigning world champion Chloe Dygert at the Paris Olympics.
