The UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany saw Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal break all sorts of records with the Spanish national team.
The teenage wonderkid became the youngest player to score and assist a goal in the history of the tournament as well as the youngest to win the European Championships.
Having played a key role in Spain’s triumph in Germany, Yamal was named the Young Player of the Tournament and was even included in the UEFA Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament.
Now, the youngster has added another accolade to his name as his stunning goal against France in the semi-finals has officially been named the UEFA Euro 2024 Goal of the Tournament.

The winger, who turned 17 years old this past weekend, scored a scorcher of a goal in the semi-final clash against France, finding the top corner from around 25 yards out to become the youngest goalscorer in history.
This record was previously held by Johan Vonlanthen, who found the net at 18 years and 141 days old during Euro 2004.
Yamal beat England midfielder Jude Bellingham to the Goal of the Tournament honour, with the Real Madrid ace’s bicycle kick against Slovakia coming in second.
Xherdan Shaqiri’s wonder-strike in the group-stage clash between Switzerland and Scotland comes third.
