GIBSIDE (5.37 Redcar, nap)

He went close in stronger company at Chester last time when seeing out the 1m6f trip well. The handicapper has left his mark alone and he has also run crackers at York and Carlisle since his last win. That came in this grade at Catterick in June and this distance brings out his very best.

BORDERLINE BOSS (2.52 Redcar, nb)

After a couple of quiet runs in maidens, he finished last season with an improved third at Catterick. Trainer Kevin Ryan pitched him into handicap company for his first run this season and he was just half a length away at Doncaster last time out. That was over six furlongs and he’s crying out for this stiffer test of stamina.

SIDE STEPPER (2.25 Stratford, treble)

He has been knocking on the door with placed efforts at Perth and Newton Abbot after a quiet comeback at Worcester. Harry Cobden gets on board and can get him over the line.

MR YEATS (3.35 Newton Abbot, Lucky 15)

He is rarely out of the frame and was a good third over course and distance last time. He has come nicely down the weights and will be right on the premises again.
