The Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Security Council (RESEC) is planning to form a specialized task force comprised of both police officers and soldiers with the aim of tackling the prevalent issue of land guard activities within the region.
During a recent press briefing in Accra, Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Titus-Glover shared that the task force will be operational once all necessary resources and vehicles are mobilized by the council.
Support for Homowo Festival Clans
In addition to addressing security concerns, Titus-Glover led a delegation that contributed various food items and financial assistance to several clans in the Ga Mashie area as part of their support for the upcoming 2024 Homowo Festival. The donation included staple foods like maize, plantains, palm oil, fish, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
