August 23 – Premier League side Brentford has joined Destination Sport Group’s growing roster of Premier League partnerships after penning a multi-year deal with the sports travel agency.
Destination Sport Group, comprised of Destination Sport Travel and Sportsbreaks.com , already handle travel requirements for more than 40 elite teams, governing bodies and federations including multiple other Premier League clubs.
Destination Sport Travel will provide ‘specialist support’ for the club’s matchday squad and corporate travel requirements, whilst sportsbreaks.com will offer Brentford fans access to a limited number of exclusive packages, with a premium experience at the Gtech Community Stadium amongst the potential rewards.
Fran Jones, Brentford commercial director, said: “This partnership shows how far we’ve come in growing our fanbase in the UK and internationally.
“There are Brentford fans in all corners of the world that are hungry to experience matchdays at the Gtech. These packages are going to help them get here and experience for themselves what it means to be a part of the Bees family.”
Destination Sport is expanding a relationship with the club that last season saw it support Brentford with team travel requirements and will now see a roll-out of its business travel service.
Destination Sport Group managing director, Paul Hemingway, added: “Brentford FC also serves as a valuable addition to Sportsbreaks.com’s portfolio of Premier League match breaks, where we look forward to providing fans from around the world with a trusted source of ticket-inclusive packages for fixtures at the Gtech Community Stadium.”
Brentford impressed with an opening day victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday. It doesn’t get any easier, though, as they travel to Anfield for this weekend’s clash with Liverpool.
