After her brother Robert F. Kennedy Jr. endorsed Donald Trump, Kerry Kennedy shared her perspective on the matter.
“I love Bobby, but I think this is dramatically misguided,” said Kerry Kennedy in Phoenix on Aug. 27, 2024, regarding her brother’s endorsement of Trump.
Kerry Kennedy had just finished campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz when she shared her thoughts about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of the Republican nominee.
The daughter of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and niece of President John F. Kennedy expressed disappointment in her brother’s decision to support Trump after making campaign stops for the Democratic ticket.
Regarding her involvement in campaigning for the Democrats, Kerry mentioned that a simple call from the campaign led to her immediate participation across multiple states showing strong family support for their values against those endorsed by their brother.
Kerry emphasized how different Donald Trump’s values are from those upheld by their family over generations and how she stands against those principles wholeheartedly.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Controversial Endorsement
Robert F. Kenned Jr.’s unexpected endorsement has puzzled his family members due to his previous work as an environmental attorney compared to some of Trump’s policies against environmental protection regulations.
