A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Missouri, USA, where a student from Telangana tragically lost his life in a drowning incident.
Kiran, a native of Chinna Korukondi village in Khammam district, had traveled to the US to pursue higher education. Tragically, on Saturday, while swimming at Sand Hills Town with three friends, Kiran, who was not a proficient swimmer, succumbed to the water despite his friends’ valiant attempts to rescue him.
Having relocated to the US in November 2023, Kiran was dedicated to his studies, pursuing a Master’s degree in Sandhills Town.
Facing the loss of his father and with his mother residing in Hyderabad, Kiran’s grandfather, Krishnamurthy Raju, had shouldered the responsibility of supporting his education and journey to the US.
The devastating news of Kiran’s sudden passing has plunged his family into profound grief. The community of Chinna Korukondi mourns his loss, anticipating the arrival of Kiran’s remains in his hometown by Thursday.
