Barcelona fans’ hearts were in their mouths as Lamine Yamal limped out of the Denmark game, showing definite signs of pain in his hamstring.
It led many to believe that the forward has picked up a fresh injury, which could rule him out on the sidelines at a crucial juncture of the season.
However, reports later revealed that Yamal’s hamstring pain was merely an overload and not a blow. In light of his knock, Yamal was sent back to Barcelona and has been ruled out for the Serbia game.
Now, the player himself has spoken out for the first time after picking up a knock against Demark.
Yamal’s message to fans after injury
Lamine Yamal was recently spotted landing in Barcelona. When he was casually leaving the airport, reporters managed to catch hold of the attacker, asking him about his fitness.

Although the Barcelona forward didn’t say much, he did admit that it is time to recover, having picked up a fresh knock against Denmark.
“I’m better. Now, it’s time to recover,” said Yamal (h/t El Chiringuito), who will be looking to get back to full fitness as soon as possible.
Will Yamal play vs Sevilla?
Much to Barcelona’s misfortune, however, recent reports indicate Yamal is doubtful for the upcoming game against Sevilla.
But this could merely be a precaution from Barcelona’s end, knowing the Catalans have key games coming up against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich later in the month.
Therefore, it won’t be surprising to see Yamal rest out against Sevilla, especially considering the fact that both Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez are guaranteed to return for this crucial encounter.
