Lines went around the block on Friday for the second day of the Latin American film festival in Cuba’s capital Havana with an eagerly anticipated Netflix series capturing the imagination. The festival has always been a popular event, providing Cubans with a glimpse into the films made in other countries in the region. However, this year, it offered something special — the avant-premiere of the first two episodes of the Netflix series based on Gabriel García Márquez’s literary masterpiece, One Hundred Years of Solitude.
