Frankie Muniz’s Transition From Performing To NASCAR (1:02)
Former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. kicked off his Thursday morning with an announcement that ought to put a smile on his followers’ faces.
Earnhardt, 50, is teaming up with Main League Baseball for an iconic collaboration. On Aug. 2, the MLB Speedway Traditional will happen in Bristol, Tennessee. The 2-time Xfinity Collection champion goes again to his roots for his paint scheme.
The No. 8 Chevrolet pays homage with Budweiser branding and an MLB All-Star Recreation paint scheme.
“It’s an unbelievable alternative to reunite with Budweiser and Main League Baseball,” Earnhardt stated. “I’ve watched that July 2001 race at Daytona so many occasions. It’s such an important reminiscence for me. I’m excited that we now have this opportunity to collaborate with Bud and MLB to convey that scheme again once more due to what it means to me and so many others.”
Earnhardt will truly race on this car on Aug. 16 as a part of the zMAX CARS Tour occasion at South Carolina’s Anderson Motor Speedway.
