VENICE, Italy (AP) — Within the new Yorgos Lanthimos movie “Bugonia,” a disturbed, conspiracy obsessed man kidnaps the pinnacle of a pharmaceutical firm and tortures her in an try to save lots of humanity. The kidnapper, performed by Jesse Plemons, believes his hostage, performed by Emma Stone, is an alien. The movie is a remake of the 2003 Korean movie “Save the Green Planet!,” and blends components of science fiction, horror and comedy.
