Northwest Las Vegas — A man died from stab wounds in a parking lot after an argument escalated Saturday evening, prompting a homicide investigation by local police.

Officers responded to multiple 911 calls around 5:45 p.m. reporting an unconscious man bleeding in a parking lot in the 2000 block of North Buffalo Drive, near Lake Mead Boulevard.
Upon arrival, police found the victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. Medical personnel provided aid at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead there.
The incident unfolded in a commercial area frequented by shoppers and commuters, heightening concerns among residents.
Argument Sparks Deadly Confrontation
Investigators determined the victim had been with two or three other individuals when a dispute broke out.
The argument quickly turned violent, resulting in the stabbing. The suspect or suspects fled the area before officers arrived, leaving no one in custody at the time.
Lt. Robert Price of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department described the sequence of events during a media briefing.
