Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2024: Celebrating Vietnam’s Business Innovators
SINGAPORE, October 4, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — On October 3rd, the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) 2024 proudly acknowledged some of Vietnam’s most influential business leaders and advocates for inclusive entrepreneurship at a prestigious event held at the GEM Center in Ho Chi Minh City. This highly regarded ceremony was orchestrated by Enterprise Asia, a leading NGO focused on promoting entrepreneurship across the region. A total of 62 outstanding organizations and leaders were recognized for their commendable business practices and ongoing commitment to innovation.

The theme for this year’s awards, “Celebrating Inclusive Entrepreneurship,” underscores‌ the vital need for equal opportunities throughout all sectors by championing diversity. It honors exceptional business figures whose contributions have significantly shaped an inclusive entrepreneurial landscape within Vietnam.
To select‍ the awardees, a comprehensive evaluation process was conducted involving over 300 nominees assessed by a panel composed of notable judges. The APEA recognizes four distinct categories: Master Entrepreneur, Inspirational Brand, Fast Enterprise, and Corporate Excellence.
Since its inception in 2007, the APEA has been conducted in upwards of 16 countries and markets. Notable past awardees include prominent figures such as Hui Wing Mao from Shimao Group in China and Francis Lui from Hong Kong’s Galaxy Entertainment Group.
Fostering Change through Inclusive Practices
During his welcome address, Dr. Fong Chan Onn—the Chairman of Enterprise Asia—expressed that now is an essential time to nurture entrepreneurship that can drive societal change. He emphasized that embracing inclusive entrepreneurial practices enables organizations to actively pursue building fairer societies while boosting job creation and cultivating resilient communities. Through united efforts,
entrepreneurship should be accessible to all rather than being limited to a privileged few.
Highlights from APEA Vietnam Chapter Winners
Remarkable achievements were noted among winners during this year’s awards; significant recipients included notable companies like Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam, BaoViet Life Corporation, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB BANK), Olam Global Agri Vietnam—as well as esteemed individuals like Thai Huong—a Hero of Labour—CEO of Bac A Bank; alongside Dang Huynh Uc My-Chairlady at TTC AgriS—both honored with accolades under the Master Entrepreneur category which celebrates exemplary entrepreneurs.
The organization received backing from PR Newswire as their Official News Release Distribution Partner along with Snowball Joint Stock Company acting as the Official Implementation Partner.
