Town of Greenland Cyber ‘In a Box’ roundtable discussion
GREENLAND — On Monday Nov. 25, at 9 a.m. representatives from the New Hampshire Department of Information Technology, the Overwatch Foundation and the town of Greenland will host a roundtable discussion about a state, nonprofit and local partnership to improve cybersecurity for state and local government entities. Rye Civic League annual meeting
RYE — On Tuesday, Nov. 26 the Rye Civic League will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. at the town library. This is a great opportunity to come out and meet the Rye residents who produce the monthly free Civic News, produce the Rye Citizens’ Handbook, coordinate candidates night and the annual budget analysis and warrant article presentations. After a brief business meeting, the Rye Civic League will present information and then moderate a town dialog on your tax rate, getting more involve in Rye activities, housing in Rye and other topics residents want to discuss. Evergreen Festival
KITTERY, Maine — The Second Christian Congregational Church of Kittery, 33 Government St., will hold its annual Evergreen Festival this year on Saturday, Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Highlights of the fair will include a country store featuring baked beans, candy, fudge, baked goods, homemade jams and jellies, pickles, relish, and more. There will also be hand-made gift items, jewelry, ornaments, fresh decorated wreaths, attic treasures, and a raffle. Raffle tickets are $1 each, or six for $5. The raffle drawing will be at 1 p.m. (attendance not required). Coffee and hot chocolate will be served in the morning.
