Manchester City continued their perfect start to the 24/25 Premier League season with a 3-1 win over West Ham in the evening kickoff today.
Erling Haaland’s hat-trick was more than enough to see off the Hammers at the London Stadium.
Player Ratings
West Ham
Like most sides will do this season, West Ham were just unable to contain the threat of City’s forward players. Their best player was Guido Rodríguez who managed a 6.6 rating overall, which sums up how they got on over the 90.
Here are the player ratings for West Ham:
Manchester City
City once again tore into their opponents with Haaland scoring a perfect 10 rating due to his hat-trick. The rest of the side were also on their game again today, with Bernardo Silva earning an 8.4 and every defensive player earning at least a 7.
Here are the player ratings for City:
Best Player of the Match
Erling Haaland
Haaland was unstoppable once again, being the best player on the pitch by a country mile and taking his tally for the season up to 7.
Worst Player on the Pitch
Max Kilman
It was unfortunately not a good evening for Max Kilman. Although there were players who scored lower ratings he was on the pitch for the full 90 minutes and ended up with a 5.5 overall.
Over the course of the game the defender managed zero successful tackles, zero duels won and he also got a yellow card for his troubles. A tough afternoon indeed.
