The Norwegian striker made Premier League history on Saturday afternoon with his second goal against Brentford.
Despite coming into the contest as heavy favourites, the visitors silenced the Etihad Stadium when they took the lead after just 22 seconds with Yoane Wissa capitalising on an Ederson mistake.
But Pep Guardiola’s side clawed their way back into the contest through Erling Haaland who equalised just before the 20-minute mark.
The centre-forward then gave his side the lead after half an hour and also set a new Premier League record, becoming the first player in the league’s history to grab nine goals in the opening four games via Squawka.
