Claiming the coveted number 1 spot is the iconic Shady Maple Smorgasbord, situated at 129 Toddy Drive in East Earl, PA. Originally starting as a farmers market, the establishment expanded to include an “all you can eat” smorgasbord in 1985. With a seating capacity of 1,200 guests and a workforce of over 750 employees, Shady Maple is a true culinary powerhouse.
“At Shady Maple Smorgasbord, located in East Earl, Pennsylvania, diners can savor delectable Pennsylvania Dutch delicacies within a spacious cafeteria-style setting,” stated USA Today.
