A hybrid war suffered by Lithuania, Poland, Estonia and Finland
For some time now I have been pointing out the very clear position of the Italian Prime Minister regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Immigration: Putin’s hybrid war against the West, its accomplices and its useful idiots
First Spain and Poland and now Greece: illegal immigration is increasingly violent
“We do not want to allow Russia or criminal organisations to undermine our security”
Today I am returning to this question in connection with the statements made yesterday by Giorgia Melini in Saariselkä, Lapland, in northern Finland, during the North-South Summit. According to the Italian agency Ansa, the Italian Prime Minister warned: “We want to defend the external borders and we do not want to allow Russia or criminal organisations to undermine our security.” Ansa points out that Meloni’s words are related to the warning of the High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security of the European Union, Kaja Kallas (former Prime Minister of Estonia), speaking about the “hybrid” threats throughout Europe and specifically the “militarization of migration”.
A hybrid war between Russia and Eastern Europe and Africa
Precisely on this subject, exactly two months ago, on October 23, I published an article here warning about Putin’s hybrid war against the West using illegal immigration as a weapon, a strategy that has already been reflected in Belarus’ migration offensive against Lithuania and Poland, promoted by a Putin puppet (the Belarusian dictator Aleksandr Lukashenko) since 2021, and I also pointed out the operations of Russian intelligence in Africa, in countries such as Libya, Burkina Faso, the Central African Republic, Mali, Niger, Chad, Sudan, Eritrea and Zimbabwe, spurring mass immigration and illegal to destabilise the European Union.
Meloni warns against the “instrumentalization of migration” by Russia
In this regard, Reuters reported yesterday that during his visit to Finland, Meloni warned that the threat from Russia “is much broader than we imagine”, adding the following:
“It’s about our democracy, it’s about influencing our public opinion, it’s about what happens in Africa, it’s about raw materials, it’s about the instrumentalisation of migration. We need to know it’s a very wide idea of security.”
On this issue, the Reuters news notes:
“Some EU members including Finland and Estonia have accused Russia of allowing illegal migrants from the Middle East and elsewhere to enter EU states via Russia without proper checks, undermining the EU’s security.”
This is nothing new: this is the same strategy that Belarus has been using against Lithuania and Poland since 2021, bringing illegal immigrants from the Middle East to launch them against the borders of those two NATO countries. A hybrid war that has forced Lithuanians and Poles to seal their borders.
In Spain, almost all parties give in to this hybrid war
The most surreal thing is that while Meloni warns about the militarization of immigration by Russia to destabilize the countries of the European Union, here in Spain Vox is the only party that rejects a massive regularization of illegal immigrants, supported in April by the socialists, by their communist and separatist parliamentary partners and also by the Popular Party. Centrists and leftists have taken on the irresponsible policy of the extreme left on immigration issues, something that should set off all the alarms not only because of the fact itself, but also because of the “coincidence” that the far-leftist parties that promote this mass immigration are also the most pro-Russian parties in Spain.
