The goalkeeper of Moscow’s Dynamo, **[Igor Leshchuk](https://example.com/tags/23895-igor-leshhuk/)**, acknowledged that it can be challenging at times to cope with criticism from the public and experts. This season, Leshchuk has played in six matches across all competitions, conceding 10 goals.
“The goalkeeper’s role is unique in that a mistake almost always leads to a goal, whereas field players can make errors every five minutes or so. In hockey, goalies receive support because it’s clear that their performance is crucial for winning. In football, however, fans and players expect the keeper to save every shot and avoid mistakes. It’s tough when every little misstep is scrutinized,” Leshchuk stated, as reported by RB Sport.
As of now, Dynamo sits in eighth place in the Mir RPL standings with 16 points. Leading the Russian championship is Lokomotiv, with 26 points.
