LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Vegas Wedding ceremony Chamber hosted its annual “Vegas Marries the Military” occasion within the Wedding ceremony Capital of the World, offering free weddings and vow renewals to deserving U.S. navy personnel and veterans.
The occasion happened on Nov. 6 and was held in celebration of Veterans Day. The occasion symbolizes “the convergence of love and duty” and is the Las Vegas marriage ceremony trade’s approach of thanking navy heroes with the marriage of a lifetime that they in any other case couldn’t afford, the chamber mentioned.
After submitting their pictures, love tales and particulars of their service, seven {couples} from throughout the U.S. had been chosen by the Vegas Wedding ceremony Chamber to signify varied branches of the armed forces.
