Henderson, Nev. – Silverado High School’s baseball team delivered a statement victory on the road, defeating Coronado 10-5 on Monday.[1][2] The Skyhawks leaned on a mix of power hitting and solid pitching to overcome the host Cougars in a matchup featuring two of Nevada’s top programs. This win bolstered Silverado’s standing as a Class 4A contender early in the season.

Guariglia Emerges as Game-Changer

Senior Giovanni Guariglia anchored Silverado’s success with a performance for the ages. The TCU commit went 2-for-4 at the plate, smashing two home runs and driving in four runs.[1] His blasts provided the offensive firepower needed to pull ahead decisively.
